BYLAW 16/2001
BEING A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF BOWDEN TO ESTABLISH THE POSITION OF CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
WHEREAS, Section 205 of the Municipal Government Act, 1994, Chapter M-26.1, with amendments, provides that a municipal council must, by Bylaw, establish the position of a Chief Administrative Officer,NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, that the Council for the Town of Bowden in the Province of Alberta hereby ENACTS as follows:
- The position of Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Bowden be established pursuant to Section 205 of the Municipal Government Act, 1994, Chapter M-26.1, with amendments.
- The position of Chief Administrative Officer be given the responsibilities pursuant to Section 207 of the Municipal Government Act, 1994, Chapter M-26.1, with amendments.
- The position of Chief Administrative Officer be given the duties pursuant to Section 208 of the Municipal Government Act, 1994, Chapter M-26.1, with amendments.
- The position of Chief Administrative Officer be given authorities pursuant to Sections 209 and 213 of the Municipal Government Act, 1994, Chapter M-26.1, with amendments.
- This Bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading.
- Bylaw No. 7/99 is hereby repealed.
